About the role

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our sales team. As an SDR, you will be responsible for identifying prospecting, lead generation, starting new relationships, identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, and managing leads through the sales pipeline. You will work closely with the sales team to ensure that our company’s sales goals are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and identify potential leads through various channels, including online research, social media, and networking events.

  • Contact and qualify leads through phone calls, emails, and other communication methods.

  • Convert prospects into Qualified leads

  • Set appointments for the Regional Sales Manager.

  • Develop and maintain a database of leads and prospects for future reference in CRM.

  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Manager to develop effective lead-generation strategies

  • Analyze and report on lead generation metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices for lead generation

  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines

  • Track progress towards meeting sales goals

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets

  • Use customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage leads and sales activities

  • Participate in the preparation of proposals and / or sales presentations

  • Provide accurate and timely information to management

  • Develop a strong knowledge of the company’s products and services in order to facilitate the sales process

  • Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management.

Job requirements

Competences

  • 5+ years of overall experience in sales, with a track record of exceeding meeting set targets.

  • Mandatory IT Sales Experience of a minimum of 3+ years.

  • Experience with cold calling

  • Proficient in GSuite

  • Experience in using CRM

  • Strong communication skills via phone, email, and social media.

  • Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills

  • Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization

  • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies

  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills

  • Proficiency in using lead generation tools and software

  • Time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
