About the role

We are searching for a Registry Relations Manager to build strong and long-lasting relationships with our Registry partners, actively engage with them and increase annual recurring revenue from them.


Key responsibilities:

  • Engage with Registries and run regular promotions to improve their numbers with us

  • Manage registry operations effectively and efficiently

  • Coordinate cross-functionally with all stakeholders and guarantee smooth operations of all registry activities

  • Actively monitor the performance and profitability of each activity and take commercial decisions to optimize results

  • Assist with MDF calculations and allocations to improve both reseller engagement as well as Registry results

Job requirements

Competences:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development/ Sales or in a relevant role in the tech industry (Domain and hosting industry is a plus)

  • Commercial: thinking and acting from opportunities in the market. Identifying customer needs and conducting professional customer discussions, building a relationship with a customer in the long term by gaining trust

  • Customer-oriented: Investigate customer wishes and needs and act accordingly. Putting the customer first without compromising their own business interests

  • Communicative: To be able to make clear decisions, ideas, and complicated matters in understandable language

  • Result-oriented (sales-driven): Focusing actions and decisions on the actual realization of intended results

  • Enthusiastic with a passion for sales

  • Perseverance, also if some ‘no’s’ come along

  • Good listener: letting the customer talk by asking the right questions

  • Empathy: being able to put yourself in the shoes of the resellers and help to tackle their everyday problems

  • Have the courage: do not be afraid to ask or to ask for the deal

  • Great communication skills in English verbal and written

  • Experience using any CRM, (preferably Hubspot).
