About the company

Openprovider is an ICANN-accredited domain registrar and technology company founded in 2004 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Now we are a team of 65 people, working fully remotely from all over the world.

All Openprovider employees work on a fully remote basis and without any geographical limitations. You don’t have to go to the office each day and deal with traffic or painful commutes. All you need is yourself, a laptop and a cup of coffee.

About the role

We are searching for a Product Analyst with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Key responsibilities

  • Delivering tangible customer benefits through the company's products or services.

  • Analysing and monitoring product or service performance as well as providing consumer, market, and competitive intelligence.

  • Proposing the overall product strategies, innovating, presenting marketplace outcome projections, and developing product culture.

  • Analysing the market, competitor activities, and price movements in order to make recommendations for key decisions.

  • Ensuring that price changes are implemented as soon as market shifts occur by collaborating with other departments such as IT. 

  • Enhancing the business' understanding of the product market, competitor activities, and consumer behavior by developing external and internal data sources.

  • Contributing to the product marketing management intelligence of the business by developing or adopting research tools, sources, and methods.

  • Maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and ethical standards.

  • Making products stand out, be compelling, easy to sell, and easy to buy by packaging and marketing them in the best way possible. 

  • Maintaining a rationalisation process for the company's products on an ongoing basis.

  • Assessing the need for and potential impact of any requested changes is performed during the initial product analysis.

  • Incorporating quantitative data into product decisions to assist product teams.

  • Evaluating whether the product direction is satisfying users by creating metrics or using existing ones.

  • Understanding what data is available, importing it, cleaning it, and asking a lot of questions to begin exploratory data analysis.

  • Providing timely data insights.

  • Analysing the relationship between the products or services of the business and the target markets by conducting financial modeling. 

  • Ensuring that new as well as existing products are produced with reports and recommendations for decision-making.

  • Assuring that all business processes and policies are followed by third parties.

  • Analysing market data, marketing strategies are developed, and these are used to enhance the reception of those products in the market. 

  • Making recommendations about products, marketing plans, and launching strategies based on customer polls and market research.

Job requirements

Competences:

    • IT/Tech/Internet industry experience (experience in Domains/Hosting industry will be a huge advantage),

    • Great communication skills in English,

    • Understanding customer needs and requirements,

    • Experience in conducting user research,

    • Experience in communicating with stakeholders,

    • Experience in testing and refining the product,

    • Experience in managing product development cycles.
