About the Role

We are seeking a talented and creative Part-Time Video Editor & Designer to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for visual storytelling and a proven ability to create engaging and high-quality video content. This role requires a versatile individual with a strong understanding of video editing techniques, graphic design principles, and the latest AI-powered content creation tools.

Key responsibilities

  • Edit and produce high-quality videos for various platforms (e.g., social media, website, marketing campaigns)

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and develop video concepts

  • Ensure video quality and consistency across all platforms

  • Utilize AI tools for tasks such as video upscaling, noise reduction, and automated editing

  • Create visually appealing graphics for social media posts, website banners, presentations, and other marketing materials

  • Design motion graphics and animations for videos and presentations

  • Utilize AI tools for tasks such as image generation, logo design, and creating variations of existing designs

  • Explore and implement innovative ways to leverage AI tools for content creation, such as generating video scripts, creating unique visuals, and automating repetitive tasks

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest AI advancements in the video editing and graphic design fields

  • Work closely with the marketing team to understand project requirements and ensure timely delivery

  • Provide creative input and feedback on marketing campaigns

  • Maintain organized project files and adhere to deadlines

Job requirements

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Video Editor and Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills

  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro)

  • Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

  • Strong understanding of video and audio editing principles

  • Excellent creative and conceptual thinking skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy

  • Experience with AI-powered content creation tools (e.g., Midjourney, DALL-E 2, Jasper) is essential
