Openprovider is an ICANN-accredited domain registrar and technology company founded in 2004 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Now we are a team of 80+ people, working fully remotely from all over the world. About the role

We are looking for a Junior Product Manager who will help us to drive our Reseller Control Panel forward as a platform. This platform is the main user interface our customers interact with, and provides a vehicle for them to access our products and services (like Domains, SSL certs, SpamExperts, etc). As such, the main goal of this platform is to provide the core infrastructure and common modules that facilitate the interaction with the products and services we offer.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of product strategy and vision for RCP & Integrations.

  • Help create, shape, and drive product processes for RCP & Integrations.

  • Assist in creating and maintaining the roadmap for the RCP core platform & Integrations as well as the Openprovider API & the Integrations API.

  • Coordinate requirements and dependencies with the Domains & DNS team.

  • Participate in product discovery activities to identify new opportunities and enhancements.

  • Support the Product Owner & Project Manager role within the scrum team.

  • Assist in procurement and managing relationships with suppliers.

  • Help drive continuous product adaptation to meet customer needs.

  • Support product design, user research, and product analytics/metrics efforts.

  • Assist in evangelising the RCP Platform & Integrations both internally and externally.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Support to gather and disseminate insights and information, ensuring effective feedback loops.

  • Support go-to-market activities to ensure successful product launches and adoption.

Job requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in product management or related roles, preferably in an Agile environment and familiar with Lean techniques;

  • Tech industry experience (Domain/Hosting industry is an advantage);

  • Ability to work effectively with departments such as Finance, Sales, Support, and Marketing;

  • Ability to contribute to and support an agile team;

  • Understanding of the product discovery process and tools;

  • Ability to assist in writing clear and concise Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) based on user stories and communicate effectively with engineering teams;

  • Basic understanding of defining data strategies for products and leveraging data for product optimisation and improvements;

  • Great communication skills in English.
