We are hiring a Chief Commercial Manager who will be a part of the Leadership team and will play a key role in our further growth.

We are an international company of almost 70 people (and we will grow more in the coming years, to approximately 100) spread out across several countries: Spain, Russia, Netherlands, Sri Lanka, India, and Indonesia. The above locations are based on where our current employees are based and we can add new ones if needed.

Briefly about our history 

Initially, our CEO Arno Vis owned a hosting provider business (HOSTING CONCEPTS BV) which experienced great vertical growth and led to the birth of a new company: Openprovider.

Back then, the landscape was quite different and there was hardly any competition, so the main existing wholesalers monopolized the market and greatly overcharged their customers for their new domains.

Over 20 years as an entrepreneur had given Arno enough experience to know that he didn’t want to play that game, so he didn’t. Clients should be at the core of any business and are the reason we manage to exist. Arno broke the mold and decided to drastically reduce the net profit that he could get, in order to build long-lasting relationships with his clients. That’s what Openprovider is all about, growing with our clients, from the present and into the future.

We are very proud of all the milestones we’ve accomplished over the past 16 years. We have come a long way and now our goal is to be the go-to wholesaler for the main distributors of the internet industry!

Current situation and challenges 

We grow yearly by 20% and now we are ready to take on the next step: to achieve exponential growth. In order to reach our objective, we will need to innovate and think out of the box, automating where possible and entering into unexplored markets.

Role description 

We are looking for THE person that, from within the Commercial department, will help us position our brand on a global scale and deliver the exponential growth that Openprovider needs in order to become one of the top 3 players in the world in the domain industry. Everything from a like-minded mindset and in accordance with our core values.

Main outcomes in 1 year:

  • Increase memberships, revenue, and profit;

  • Increase brand awareness;

  • Reduce customer churn from 21% to 16.8%;

  • Document, simplify, and create the first draft of core processes;

  • Set up the right team for achieving those ambitious goals (with 95% of the right people in the right seats).

Job requirements

Main requirements

  • Strong track record of success in a senior commercial leadership role (5 years min) including prior experience as a Chief Commercial Officer;

  • Proven experience with success in building, scaling, and leading high performing sales and marketing teams;

  • A broad and international experience and a proven track record within B2B Sales & Marketing;

  • Exponential growth experience;

  • Deep knowledge of how to use social media in B2B (Instagram, Podcasts, Clubhouse, Linkedin, TikTok, etc.);

  • Brand management experience with proven success.

Current situation of the team 

We have two separate teams, Marketing, and Sales, with a total of 12 people. The first task should be to reorganize their structure according to the strategy, which you will create; and make them work smoothly as a well-oiled machine while still maintaining the team spirit. Our people are highly motivated but innovation and their correct management are necessary in order to achieve our ambitious goals.


All Openprovider employees work on a fully remote basis and without any geographical limitations. You don’t have to go to the office each day and deal with traffic or painful commutes. All you need is yourself, a laptop and a cup of coffee.

We support a healthy work/life balance and constantly strive to improve this aspect more and more every day. We support a flexible schedule and are 100% performance and result-oriented.

You will report directly to the Managing Director but will stay in close contact with the CEO/Founder in order to move fast and align on the fly. Your peers will be made up of the Chiefs of other departments, ready to support you at all times.
